CBEC appoints adjudicating authorities for various Customs cases

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 and sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby appoints the Commissioner of Customs(Export), JNCH, Nhava Sheva, to act as a common adjudicating authority to exercise the powers and discharge the duties conferred or imposed on -

(i) the Commissioner of Customs, (General and CFS Mulund); and

(ii) the Commissioner of Customs, Ahmedabad

for the purpose of adjudicating the matters relating to show cause notice pertaining to M/s Meenu Exim Pvt. Ltd., Block No. 160, Plot No. 18B to 18C, At/Po.-Pipodara, Ta-Mangrol, Dis-Surat issued, vide F.No. DRI/AZU/INV-06/2005/Meenu, dated the 16th June, 2006, F.No. DRI/AZU/INV-06/2005/Meenu, dated the 27th July, 2007, and F.No. DRI/AZU/INV-06/2005/ Meenu, dated the 7th February, 2006 by the Additional Director General, Directorate General of Revenue Intelligence, Zonal Unit, Ahmedabad.
