Chakan-da-bagh and Salamabad appointed as Land Customs Station

S.O. (E).- In excercise of the powers conferred by clauses (b) and (c) of section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, No. 63/94-CUSTOMS (N.T.), dated the 21st November, 1994, namely:-

In the said notification,-

(A) in the opening paragraph, after the third proviso, the following proviso shall be inserted, namely:-

“Provided also that Chakan-da-bagh and Salamabad are appointed as Land Customs Station for the purpose of clearance of baggage and clearance of cargo respectively.”.

(B) in the Table, against serial number 7 relating to Pakistan, in columns (3) and (4), after item number (14), the following item number and entries shall be inserted, namely:-

“15. SalamabadSrinagar-Salamabad-Muzaffarabad Road
POONCH DISTRICT
16. Chakan-da-baghPoonch-Chakan-da-bagh-Rawalkot Road .”.
