CBEC appoints adjudicating athorities for DRI cases

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby appoints the Commissioner of Central Excise(Adjudication), New Customs House, Air Cargo Complex, New Delhi, to act as, -

    (i) Commissioner of Customs, Inland Container Depot, Tughlakabad, New Delhi;
    (ii) Commissioner of Customs, Chennai, Sea Port;
    (iii) Commissioner of Central Excise, Faridabad;
    (iv) Commissioner of Customs and Central Excise, Vishakhapatnam-II
    (v) Commissioner of Customs, Nhava Sheva;
    (vi) Commissioner of Customs, Jamnagar;
    (vii) Commissioner of Customs, Kolkata, Sea Port;
    (viii) Commissioner of Customs(Import), New Custom House, Mumbai;
    (ix) Commissioner of Customs(Import), New Custom House, New Delhi;
    (x) Commissioner of Central Excise, Hyderabad-II;
    (xi) Commissioner of Customs(Import and Container Freight Station Mulund), Mumbai; and
    (xii) Commissioner of Customs, Amritsar,
for the purposes of adjudicating the matters relating to Show Cause Notice pertaining to M/s International Engineers, 7/3, Roop Nagar, New Delhi and Others issued, vide, F.No.DRI/23/42/2003/DZU-Pt/3603-3653, dated the 13th September, 2004, by the Additional Director General, Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Delhi Zonal Unit, B-4, 6th Floor, Paryavaran Bhawan, C.G.O. Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.
