Amendments in Ntf. No. 39/96-Customs, dated the 23rd July, 1996 - Defence Imports-Exemption Extended upto 1/1/2006 for Goods for Integrated Guided Missile Development ProgrammeG.S.R. (E) - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue),
No. 39/96-Customs, dated the 23rd July, 1996, namely :-
In the Table annexed to said notification , against S. No. 14, in column (3), inthe Explanation, for the words and figures "1st day of January, 2002", the words and figures 1st day of January, 2006" shall be substituted.
