Dance troupes, artistes, etc. who wish to undertake tours abroad for cultural purposes should apply to Ministry of Human Resources Development (Department of Education and Culture), Government of India, for recommendation regarding their foreign exchange requirements. Authorised dealers may release exchange, on the strength of the sanction from the Ministry, to the extent and subject to conditions indicated therein.
