Cement for Relief Work in Gujarat-Excise Duty Exemption Extended upto March 2004

G.S.R. (E)– In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 16/2001-Central Excise, dated the 26th March, 2001, namely:–

In para 2 of the notification, for the words and figures “31st day of March, 2003”, words and figures “31st day of March, 2004’ Shall be substituted.
