Notification No. 20/99-CE, Dt. 7th May, 1999
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 5A of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government being hereby satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 5/99-Central Excise, dated the 28th February, 1999, namely:-

In the said notification, in the Table, against serial No. 9, in column(3), for item (II), the following shall be substituted, namely:-

(II) factory using rotary klin, with installed capacity not exceeding 900 tonnes per day or 2,97,000 tonnes per annum and the total clearances of the cement produced by the factory, in a financial year, shall not exceed 3,00,000 tonnes.
