All exporters who desire to obtain status certificate from the Headquarters may submit three sets of application, one each to the Headquarters, Zonal and Regional Office. Where the Regional office is the same as the Zonal office, such exporters may submit only two sets of the application. The Zonal/Regional office may verify the bonafides of the application and the claim made thereon and submit the report within 7 days of the receipt of the copy of the application by them to enable the Headquarters to consider the firm’s application for the grant of status certificate.
