However, when the licence/certificate/permission has been lost by the Government agency and a proof to this effect is submitted, the documents at serial nos. (a) to (d) shall not be asked for. In such cases, licence/ certificate/ permissions shall be revalidated for a period for six months from the date of endorsement, not withstanding anything stated below.
