Scrap / dust / sweepings of gold may be sent to the Government of India Mint / Private Mint from the EOU / EPZ units and returned to them in standard gold bars in accordance with the procedure prescribed by the Customs authorities or may be permitted to be sold in the DTA on payment of applicable Customs duty, on the basis of gold content, as may be notified by Customs.
