The Licensing Authority concerned shall issue an IEC number in the format as given in Appendix-2B. A copy of such IEC number shall be endorsed to the concerned banker (as per the details given in the IEC application form). A consolidated statement of IEC numbers, issued by the licensing authority, shall be sent to the Exchange Control Department of the RBI in terms of Appendix 36, as per details given in Appendix-2C
