Amendment in the Project Imports Regulations, 1986

G.S.R. (E).-In exercise of the powers conferred by section 157 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the Project Imports Regulations, 1986, namely :-

1. (1) These regulations may be called the Project Imports (Amendment) Regulations, 2012.

(2) They shall come into force on the 17th day of March, 2012.

2. In the Project Imports Regulations, 1986, in the Table,-

(i) against serial number 3G, for the entry under column heading „Name of the Plant or Project‟, the following shall be substituted, namely:-

“Project for installation of mechanized handling systems and pallet racking systems in mandis and warehouses for food grains, sugar and horticulture produce”;

(ii) after serial number 3H and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entries shall be inserted, namely:-

“3I. Green house set up for protected cultivation of horticulture and floriculture produce Ministry of Agriculture”.

Note.- The principal notification No. 230/1986-Customs, dated the 3rd April, 1986 was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) vide number G.S.R. 580(E), dated the 3rd April, 1986 and was last amended vide notification No. 15/2010-Customs, dated the 27th February, 2010, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide number G.S.R. 128 (E), dated the 27th February, 2010.
