Amendments to Notification 38/2001 (NT)- Exchange rate for AUSTRALIAN DOLLAR changed
In pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20 of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 (2 of 1899) and sub-clause (i) of clause (a) of sub-section (3) of section 14 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the Notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue (1) (2) (3) S. NO. FOREIGN CURRENCY RATE OF EXCHANGE OF ONE UNIT OF FOREIGN CURRENCY EQUIVALENT TO INDIAN RUPEES 2. AUSTRALIAN DOLLAR 23.55

This rate will be effective from 28th September, 2001.
