Amendments in the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 11A of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendments in the First Schedule to the said Customs Tariff Act, namely:
In the First Schedule to the said Customs Tariff Act, -
(1) in Chapter 43, in column (1), for the entry "4302 19 00", the entry "4302 19" shall be substituted;
(2) in Chapter 52, -
(i) in column (1), for the entry "5210 32 39", the entry "5210 32 90" shall be substituted;
(ii) in tariff item 5211 49 90, for the entry in Column (4), the entry "30% or Rs.150 per kg., whichever is higher" shall be substituted;
(3) in Chapter 57, in column (1),
(i) for the entry "5702 41 40", the entry "5702 41 90" shall be substituted;
(ii) for the entry "5702 51 40", the entry "5702 51 90" shall be substituted;
(iii) for the entry "5702 91 40", the entry "5702 91 90" shall be substituted;
(4) in Chapter 61, in column (1), for the entry "6104 19 30", the entry "6104 19 90" shallbe substituted;
(5) in Chapter 63, in column (1),
(i) for the entry "6203 11 00", the entry "6303 11 00" shall be substituted;
(ii) for the entry "6203 12 00". the entry "6303 12 00" shall be substituted;
(iii) for the entry ""6203 19 00", the entry "6303 19 00" shall be substituted;
(6) in Chapter 73, in column (1), for the entry "7310 10 20", the entry "7320 10 20" shall be substituted;
(7) in Chapter 74, in column (1), for the entry "7401 21 30", the entry "7407 21 30" shall be substituted;
(8) in Chapter 90, in tariff item 9030 39 50, for the entry in column (2), the entry "- Megar meters" shall be substituted;
(9) in Chapter 91, in tariff item 9105 91 00, for the entry in column (2), the entry "-- Battery, accumulator or mains powered" shall be substituted.

Note:
(1) The First Schedule of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975) has been substituted by
section 3 of the Customs Tariff (Amendment) Ordinance, 2003 (Ord. 1 of 2003).
(2) This notification seeks to incorporate the technical corrections in the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975). The amendments are purely technical in nature and do not have any revenue implications.
