Export of cement by M/s IDEB Projects (P) Limited, Bangalore shall be allowed from Tuticorin Port

S.O. (E) In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No.22 of 1992) read with Para 1.3 and Para 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009, the Central Government hereby makes, with immediate effect, the following addition at the end of Para 2 of the Notification No.13 (RE-2008)/2004-09 dated 27th May, 2008 read with Notification No.4 (RE-2008)/2004-09 dated 11th April, 2008: -

“2.1 Notwithstanding anything contained in Para 2 above, export of cement by M/s IDEB Projects (P) Limited, Bangalore shall be allowed from Tuticorin Port, for a quantity of 41,100 bags of 50 Kg each, to Maldives for construction of Indian-Maldives Friendship Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Studies Centre, under a bilateral agreement signed with Government of Maldives. The quantity and schedule of export of Cement (Specifications: OPC conforming to IS: 269, PPC conforming to IS: 1489 or PSC conforming to IS: 455: 1989) shall be as under: -

 (Quantity: 50 kg. Per bag)
(a) November, 20089,100 bags
(b) December, 200810,000 bags
(c) January, 200912,000 bags
(d) February, 200910,000 bags”
