Removal of Budget Day Restrictions for Budget – 2003 –04

Attention of all Importers/Exporters, CHAs and Trade is invited to the above mentioned subject that the Union Budget- 2003 – 2004 is likely to be presented at 11.00 AM on 28th February – 2003.

2. In the process of further simplification of procedures, it has been decided to do away the Budget day restrictions with immediate effect. Thus, as on any other day, on the Budget day i.e. 28th February 2003 also the importers/ exporters shall be free to carry out their import/export activities as per law.
