Disposal of the pending drawback claims-reg.

All Exporters, Importers, Custom House Agents and the trade are informed that this Custom House has been making all efforts for disposal of the pending drawback claims. The list of all old claims in which deficiency memo has been issued are being forwarded to Bombay Custom House Agent’s Association, Delhi Exporters Association in floppy for wide publicity among the members of exporters.

It is reiterated that the exporters should reply to the queries. In cases where the claims are beyond 6 months from now, they are also required to submit the Bank realization certificate in respect of the export consignment pertaining to particular claim.

In order to expedite disposal of pending drawback cases, the exporters should submit their replies alongwith Bank realisation certificate within 15 days of the Public Notice to the CFS Mulund, failing which their claims may be treated as unsubstantiated and liable for rejection, or may be considered for lower rate, if so admissible.
