SUB:- Cancellation of Prior Entry I.G.M. No. 5183 of MT ‘AMBER LADY’ filed by the Steamer Agents M/s GAC Shipping (I) Pvt Ltd- reg.
Prior Entry IGM No. : 5183 of M.T.’ AMBER LADY’ was filed on 10.03.2000 and the same was provisionally accepted wide provision (a) to section 30 (1) of the Customs Act, 1962.

The Steamer Agent vide their letter dated 14.03.2000 have stated that the Agency of the vessel M.T. ‘ AMBER LADY’ has been transferred to M/s Atlantic Shipping P. Ltd. in the circumstances, I have no option but to treat the said I.G.M. filed provisionally only as cancelled.

In the circumstances, all the Importers and their Customs House Agents and other concerned are hereby informed that the Bills of Entry noted against this provisionally I.G.M. in view of this cancellation become void. They are requested to return these Bills of Entry to the Import Department and they may claim refund of duty if paid on any such Bill of Entry.

As and when the vessel enters the territorial water and the IGM is filed by the Steamer Agent M/s Atlantic Shipping P Ltd., the Importers and their CHAs may file fresh Bills of Entry against the manifest which will be filed by the Steamer Agent.
