Warehousing – Grant of extension of warehousing period by the Chief Commissioner’s under section 61 of the Customs Act, 1962-reg

Attention of Trade is invited to Central Board of Excise and Customs, New Delhi’s Circular No. 03/2003-Customs dated 14.01.03 (copy enclosed) wherein the Board has issued revised guidelines in respect of re-export of goods under section 69 of Customs Act, 1962 in respect of time expired bonds and extension thereof.

The Trade is, therefore, advised to follow these guidelines while requesting for re-export of the goods under section 69 of Customs Act, 1962 and in seeking extension of warehousing period in respect of time expired bonds.
