Constitution of Permanent Trade Facilitation Committee

The Watchdog Committee currently functioning under the Chairmanship of Commissioner of Customs will henceforth be named and referred to as Permanent Trade Facilitation Committee. (TFC). All Importers, Exporters and various Manufacturing / Trading Associations are advised to take advantage of this forum (TFC) for a long term solution to the day to day problems associated with the clearance of import and export goods.

The composition of TFC is to be enlarged to include the representatives on this Committee as a part of the follow up action on the recommendations of the Task Force of Indirect Taxes (Kelkar Committee).

They are, therefore, requested to send their representative to attend the meetings of TFC scheduled to be held on 2nd Thursday of each month at 17.00 hrs in the Chamber of Dy. Commissioner of Customs (Import), CFS, Mulund.
