NOTIFICATION NO. 1/2004 – CUSTOMS (NT) DATED : 19.07.2004
In exercise of the powers delegated to the undersigned vide Notification No. 33/94 – Customs (NT) dated 1st July 1994 by the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, New Delhi under Clause (a) of Section 152 of the Customs Act, 1962, read with Notification No. 14/2002 Cus(NT) dated 07.03.2002 as amended, I, J.M.K. SEKHAR, CHIEF COMMISSIONER OF CUSTOMS AND CENTRAL EXCISE, COIMBATORE hereby declare “ PALLAPATTI VILLAGE, DINDIGUL TALUK, in the District pf DINDIGUL, State of TAMIL NADU, to be a warehousing station under SECTION 9 of the Customs Act, 1962 for the purpose of licensing of Private Bonded Warehouse.

NOTIFICATION NO. 86/2004 – CUSTOMS (NT), dated the 7th July, 2004
G.S.R. 407(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule(1) of rule 3 of the Customs Tariff (Identification and Assessment of Safeguard Duty) Rules, 1997, and in supersession of notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 89/2003 – Customs (NT) issued vide G.S.R. No. 838(E) dated the 23rd October, 2003, the Central Government hereby appoints Shri Lakhinder Singh, Chief Commissioner, as the Director General (Safeguards) for the purposes of the said rules.
