Export of Herbal formulations manufactured out of 17 more items allowed for 90 days

S.O. (E):- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 (No.22 of 1992) read with paragraph 4.1 of Export and Import Policy 1997-2002, the Central Government hereby notifies the following amendment in the "ITC (HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items 1997 -2002", namely:-

In respect of the seventeen items (Annexure attached) in the Schedule 2 Appendix 2, export of value added herbal formulations made out Of these species, obtained from the wild, shall be allowed in accordance with the Export Policy as prevailing prior to 25th March, 1996, for a period of 90 day from the date of issue of this Notification, as one time exemption, subject to usual conditions and CITES regulations.
