Amendment of Standard Input Output Norms at SI. No. C-773

In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2009-14, the following amendment is made in the Handbook of Procedure Vol. II (as stated in paragraph 1.1 of Vol. I):

2. The existing entry in SION C-773 of the Product Group "Engineering Products"(Product Code: 61) is as follows:

Printed Lug Cap with Internal Coating Lined with PVC compound	1 kg	1. Tin Plate Prime	1.30 Kg
		2. PVC Compound	1.05 kg/kg content in the export product.

3. Amended entry in SION C-773 is as under: -

Lug Cap whether printed or plain (a) with Internal Coating Lined with PVC compound and (b) External Coating.	1 kg	1. Prime Quality Electrolytic Tin Plate (ETP)	1.30 Kg /Kg content in the Export Product
		2. PVC Lining Compoundc	1.05 kg/kg content in the Export Product
		3. Primer Lacquer for internal base coat	CIF value of import items from SI No.3 to 6 is restricted upto 5 % of FOB value of exports.
		4. Adhesive Lacquer for internal coat
		5. External base coat-white or Gold
		6. Varnish
Note: In case the Lug Cap is printed, an additional input will be allowed as under:- Description Quantity 7.Printing inks CIF value of import item No.7 is restricted upto 1 % of FOB value ofexports.

4. Effect of this amendment:

This will facilitate import of raw materials for plain as well as printed Lug Caps.
