PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 04/2008, DT. 17/04/2008

Govt. - DEPB benefits on skimmed milk and other milk products withdrawn

In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009 and Paragraph 1.1 of the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.I), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments in the “Schedule of DEPB Rates”, as amended from time to time, with immediate effect.

1. Product Group: Miscellaneous Products - Product Group: 90

Export of Skimmed Milk Product (SMP), Casein and any other Milk Product under Sl. No. 22C and 22D of the Miscellaneous Product (Product Code 90) and “Casein all types” appearing at Sl. No. 571 of the Product Group ‘Chemicals’ (Product Code 62) shall not be entitled for DEPB Benefit.

[OLD-
Export of Skimmed Milk Product (SMP), Casein and any other Milk Product shall not be entitled for DEPB rate under Sl. No. 22C and 22D of the Miscellaneous Product.]
