General Note for Textiles (J) - Note No.20 (Advance Authorization for export of Cotton Bed Linen, Bed Covers, Bed Sets, Pillow Covers, Cushion Covers)

In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-09 and Paragraph 1.1 of Handbook of Procedures (Vol.1), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following additions in the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.2, 2004-2009, as amended.

2. In the General Note for Textiles (Product Code: J) the following Note No.20 may be incorporated:-

General Note No.20 : Advance Authorization for export of Cotton Bed Linen, Bed Covers, Bed Sets, Pillow Covers, Cushion Covers under (SION at S.No.sJ-1, J-28, J-30, J-40, J-49, J-73, J-91, J-108, J-109, J-119, J-123, J-129, J-312, J-314, J-316 & J-347) shall not be permitted under the generic entries for export of made-ups.

The earlier General Note No.16 & 17 issued vide Public Notice No.52 (RE:2007)/2004-2009 dated 27.9.2007 may be amended to read as General Note No.18 and 19 respectively instead of General Note No.16 and 17.
