PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 18/2006, DT. 12/06/2006

Mumbai Port added & imports will be made by 31st March, 2007 - arrangements for import of wheat under Chapter 10 - Ad-hoc Exemption

In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-09 and Paragraph 1.1 of Handbook of Procedures (Vol.1), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments in Public Notice No. 7(RE-2006)/2004-09 dated 09/05/2006.

(1) Sl.No. (ii) of Para 2 will be amended to read as follows:

(ii) Imports will be made by 31st March, 2007.

(2) Sl. No. (iv) of Para 2 will be amended to read as follows:

(iv) The import will be allowed into India only through the following ports, namely, Nhava Sheva, Kandla, Kolkatta, Chennai, Vishakhapatanam , Mundra and Mumbai.
