PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 44/2005, DT. 26/08/2005

Amendments/deletions/corrections & additions in SION

In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-09 and Paragraph 1.1 of Handbook of Procedures (Vol.1), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments/deletions/corrections and additions in the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.2, 2004-2009, as amended.

2. In the statement of Standard Input Output Norms as contained in the Handbook of Procedures, (Vol.2) 2004-2009, as amended, amendments/ corrections/ deletion at appropriate places as mentioned in Annexure "A” to this Public Notice are made.

3. In the statement of Standard Input Output Norms, following additions shall be made at appropriate places as mentioned below:-

CHEMICALS AND ALLIED PRODUCTS

After the existing entry at Sl.No.A-3568, new entries at Sl. No. A-3569 to A-3571 are added as per Annexure “B” to this Public Notice.

FOOD PRODUCTS

After the existing entry at Sl.No.E-120, new entries at Sl. No. E-121 to E-122 are added as per Annexure “C” to this Public Notice

TEXTILE PRODUCTS

After the existing entry at Sl.No.J-369, new entry at Sl. No. J-370 is added as per Annexure “D” to this Public Notice

MISCELLANEOUS PRODUCTS

After the existing entry at Sl.No.K-176, new entry at Sl. No. K-177 is added as per Annexure “E” to this Public Notice.

Note: 1. For the purpose of import of fuel under Actual User Advance Licence, the applicant shall indicate the name of the specific fuel sought for import in their application. Import of fuel however shall not be permitted against DFRC or under Para 4.7 of Handbook of Procedure or against Ad hoc Norms.

Note:2. Stock register is to be maintained as per Appendix 23 of the Foreign Trade Policy (as amended from time to time) which will be subject to verification by customs.

Note:3. The fuel obtained duty free will not be used for the manufacture of the items other than exported ones.
