CHEMICALS AND ALLIED PRODUCTS EXPORT PROMOTION COUNCIL
SUBJECT:- EXPORT OF SANDS AND SOILS TO MALDIVES-MONITORING REGARDING.
Attention is invited to the Notification No.36(RE-98)/1997-2002 dated 6th December, 1998 exempting export to Maldives for a total quantity of 1,00,000 MTS of stone aggregate and 1,10,000 MTs of river sand per annum.
In view of various representations received regarding monitoring of above ceiling shall be monitored by Chemicals and Allied Products Export Promotion Council (CAPEXIL). The Capexil will issue NOC each year to the extent of ceiling of Stone Aggregate and River sand prescribed above for export to Maldives. Capexil turn would send a quarterly report to Policy Cell III in the Directorate General of Foreign Trade regarding utilisation of the ceiling.
