Attention of all exporters is invited to this office Trade Notice No.3 dtd.14.05.2002 wherein it was proposed to make electronic filing of Advance Licences/DEPB/DFRC compulsory. Now a large number of exporters have already obtained passwords and became familiar with filing the applications electronically. D.G.F.T., New Delhi has already indicated his desire to convert this organization to a completely paperless office. In that direction it is required that all exporters should be conversant with filing of applications electronically.

Accordingly, now it has been decided that with effect from 1.10.2002 all applications for Advance Licences/DEPBs/DFRCs shall be filed electronically only. This office will not accept any application filed manually. Those exporters who have not taken passwords are requested to apply for passwords well in time along with copies of IEC allotment letter and RCMC. Same may be submitted to Shri. Dhano M.K., P.A. to Shri S.B.S. Reddy, Jt.D.G.F.T., 2nd floor of this office. Passwords will be given within one working day.
