It is observed that the trend of deficiencies in the on-line applications which are submitted without Pre-scrutiny is high. The entire procedure is time consuming and does not serve the very purpose of on - line applications. Hence, in order to avoid deficiencies at a later stage and to cut short the procedure for issuance of licences it has been decided to commence compulsory pre-scrutiny system for on-line applications also. Exporters are requested to submit the hard copy of documents to the concerned pre-scrutiny counter. They may also avail the facility of same day issue of licence as per Trade Notice No. 04, dated 02.07.2001.
