ON-LINE MODE OF FILING APPLNS

It has come to the notice of this office that some exporters are finding difficulties in submission of Advance Licence applications through on-line mode. The problems highlighted are in connection with the generation of File Nos. w.r. to SION cases and No Norms cases.

Exporters may please note that in this office the applications for advance Licence as per para 4.7, where norms are not fixed are dealt by section called ‘ ZALC’ and other Licensing sections handle applications for advance licence where norms are fixed.

Exporters are hereby requested to carefully update the ‘DES MASTER DETAILS’ adhering to the following steps and avoid errors in generation of file nos. pertaining to ZALC section and normal Licensing section.

I. FOR NO NORMS CASES : -

First click the SION STATUS

Select ‘NO NORMS COMMITTEE’

Do not click ‘DIRECT APPROVAL BUTTON’

(To confirm whether you have submitted to ZALC, the file no.generated will start with 03/24. The F.No. status can be checked after couple of hours.)

II. FOR NORMS FIXED(SION) CASES :-

First click the SION STATUS

Select the third option ‘SION’

Click on ‘DIRECT APPROVAL BUTTON’

(To confirm whether you have submitted to Non-ZALC section, the file no. generated will not show 24 as shown above, but other section nos. viz.03/ 61,03/ 62 etc.)
