TRADE NOTICE NO. 09/AM05, DATE 03/12/2004

Submission of information in conformity with provisions contained in Annexure I to Appendix 10 of Hand Book of procedures (Vol.I) in respect of applications for grant of Advance Licences under Para 4.7 of Hand Book of Procedures (Vol.I).

 

Attention of trade is invited to Trade Notice No.20 dated 19.02.2003 dealing with streamlining of procedure for licensing under Para 4.7 of Hand Book of Procedures (Vol.I) 2002-2007.

Advance Licensing Committee has observed that the sets submitted by the applicants are not in conformity with the Annexure-I to Appendix 10 of Hand Book of Procedures (Vol.I).

The nature of deficiencies noticed while examination of cases by ALC is as below:

(1) For the products falling under the categories of “Chemicals & Allied Products” & “Plastics”, the documents prescribed in Annexure-I to Appendix 10 are not enclosed by the party with the sets.

(2) Self-certified copy of valid Drug Manufacturing Licence, wherever applicable is invariably not submitted with the application.

A copy of the latest Annexure-I to Appendix 10 of Hand Book of Procedures (Vol.I) is enclosed to this Trade Notice. To this extent the contents of Part III of Annexure-I to the Trade Notice No.20 dated 19.02.2003 may be treated to have been revised as per Annexure-I to this Trade Notice.

The members of Trade are requested to submit complete information as per the same otherwise their applications will be liable to be rejected/returned.

(1) CHEMICALS PRODUCTS, DRUGS AND PHARMACEUTICALS

a) Step-wise manufacturing process.
