Filing of Application through EDI Mode

 

Of late it has been brought to the notice of this office by the Exporting Community that they are facing problems for filing application under the various schemes through Electronic Data Inter Change mode. It is therefore, brought to the notice of the Trade and Industry that certain changes have been brought in the EDI mode of filing application at the DGFT, Hqrs., [Main server] according to which the following modifications has to be done so as to file the applications without any difficulty.

1) Download Microsoft data Access Components [MDAC] 2.50.4403.12. on your machine from Microsoft Site [MDAC_TYP.EXE]. Run the downloaded MDAC_TYP.EXE file on your machine by double clicking the MDAC_TYP.EXE so that MSADO15.DLL is created in C:Program filesCommon filesSystemado. After completing the above installation please restart the computer and check if the file named MSADO15.DLL available at the above mentioned location and is of 477 KB Size.

2) Download latest JVM [Java Virtual Machine] from SUN website and run the downloaded file.

3) Optional Download for digital signature users - Please download the latest drivers of the key type of hardware token.

4) Download NCODEFS.DLL and CAPICOM.DLL in C:(n) Exim folder
