Anti Damping investigations concerning import of Lead Acid Batteries originating in or exported from Japan, Korea, China PR and Bangladesh

The Customs Excise & Gold (Control) Appellate Tribunal (CEGAT) in Final Order No. 4-6/03-ALA,dated 3-6-2003 has given the following direction in para 9 of the said Order:-

"……………..It is accordingly, ordered that the following entry shall be substituted for the existingentry under Sl. No. 1(a) of Table-II in Notification No. 1/2002-Cus. dated 2nd January, 2002 relating tolevy of duly on exports of Lead Acid Batteries from People's Republic of China.

Having regard to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 as amended in 1995 and the Customs Tariff(Identification, Assessment and Collection of Anti Dumping Duty on Dumped Articles and forDetermination of Injury) Rules, 1995 and the order of CEGAT mentioned above, the DesignatedAuthority hereby makes the following changes in Para 51 of the Final findings notified vide NotificationNo. 67/1/2000-DGAD, dated 7th December, 2001.
