Anti-Dumping Duty On Low Carbon Ferro Chrome

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 9A of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), read with rule 13 of the Customs Tariff (Identification, Assessment and Collection of Anti-dumping Duty on Dumped Articles and for Determination of Injury) Rules, 1995, the Central government on the basis of the preliminary findings of the designated authority published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-I, Section-1, dated the 23rd May, 1996, that there is dumping in respect of Low Carbon Ferro Chrome having carbon content ranging from 0.03% to 0.2% and chromium content ranging from 65% to 70%, originating from Russia, falling under sub-heading 7202.49 of the First Schedule to the said Act, hereby imposes on the said Low Carbon Ferro Chrome when exported by the exporters mentioned n column (2) of the Table annexed to this notification and imported into India, an anti-dumping duty at the rate specified in column (3) of the said Table.
